Since then, KhaiAn has participated in a variety of piano competitions, adjudications, and recitals at both local and state levels. KhaiAn plays piano in the jazz band and violin in the orchestra at Black Hills High School. He will be playing Beethoven’s Concerto No. 1 in C Major, Op. 15: III. She began piano lessons at the age of five and over the years has earned numerous accolades, including first prize in the Advanced A division of the Olympia Music Teachers’ Association Concerto Competition twice. This year, under the guidance of Dr. Ramona Allen, she is thrilled to receive first prize in the Advanced B Division. In addition to piano, Phoebe is an accomplished violinist and serves as concertmaster of the Olympia High School Chamber Orchestra.
